Framework for Success in Postsecondary Writing
http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/resource/3479
In response to the CCSS and to describe the rhetorical and twenty-first-century skills that are critical for college success, representatives and leaders from the Council of Writing Program Administrators, the National Council of Teachers of English, and the National Writing Project, collaboratively developed and endorsed the Framework for Success in Postsecondary Writing.
The Framework is based on current research in writing and writing pedagogy and provides teachers, K-college, specific ways we can all share the responsibility for preparing students to be college-level learners and writers. The Framework notes what successful writers need to learn over time and what teachers can do to help them learn, practice, and improve.
The Framework is organized into two sections as described below in an excerpt from the Executive Summary. Link here to read or download the Framework: http://www.nwp.org/cs/public/print/resource/3479
