Programs: Improving the Writing and Learning of English Learners
CWP programs are offered year round in many different formats— one- or two-week summer programs, weekend conferences, school- or district-sponsored workshop series, district workshops followed by school-based PLCs. All CWP sites offer variations of these programs at their host university or with a partner school, district, or county office. Programs are customized for participants and for sponsoring schools and districts. School or District Partnership Support often includes:

Developing Academic Language for English Learners
Offered as a school-year weekend seminar series, and contracted inservice program for schools and districts, or a one- to two-week summer course, this program offers teachers proven strategies for helping English Learners develop the academic language they need to do proficient work in any content area.
